Hector Towah Gontee, born on May 6, 1992, in Nimba, Republic of Liberia, is a dynamic leader, educator, and advocate. He hails from a family devoted to community and service, and he has committed his life to advancing education and empowering others.

Currently, Mr. Gontee is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Environmental Science at Graphic Era University in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. He holds an impressive academic background, including a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology from the University of Liberia, a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from the United Methodist University, and an Associate of Arts Degree with a C Certificate from LICOOSSES Teacher’s College.

With over 10 years of leadership experience, Mr. Gontee has served in various capacities, including as the President of the Geology Department’s 103rd graduating class at the University of Liberia in 2022. He has also demonstrated his dedication to community service as the Secretary General of the Neezoe United Seven Brothers and Sisters Self Help Club, Youth President of the Power House Assembly of God Church, and Neezoe Focus Person for Equip Liberia.

Mr. Gontee's passion for education is evident in his diverse teaching experience. He has taught at several respected institutions, including Billie Call Institute, SAMWA International School System, and William Booth High School.

As the Representative for ALSI's Local Chapter at Graphic Era University, he plays a crucial role in ensuring that the voices of Liberian students are heard and that their needs are met within the university’s student body. He also serves as the Secretary General of ALSI-GEU students and the Student Representative at the 3rd Parliament of All Liberian Students in India, further highlighting his leadership and commitment to student welfare.

In addition to his academic and leadership roles, Mr. Gontee is the Founder and CEO of HTG Education Consultancy, where he and his team assist students from Africa and around the world in gaining admission to prestigious universities in India.

Mr. Gontee is a strong proponent of egalitarianism, democracy, and activism. His leadership style is rooted in mentorship, integrity, and a deep desire to uplift others.
